The Nanaimo Women’s Resources Society believes that to end oppression and violence against women we must continue working towards full social, political, legal and economic equality.
We are committed to running a safe, supportive Women’s Centre to provide non–discriminatory programs and services that help women help themselves toward personal and social empowerment.

We believe that equality begins in the mind and, therefore, we must provide personal skills and self–esteem programming focused on moving ideas into action.

We are committed to forging links between local and global actions that promote the rights and equality of all women.

We maintain the right to advocate for social and political change.
